Places of Interest
The Ruzafa market on the edge of Monteolivete is worth a visit as is the Iglesia San Valero. The area is just a short walk from famous and characteristic City of Arts and Sciences (Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias).
Shops and Facilities
Monteolivete has all the supermarkets, chemists, hairdressers etc you may need plus an array of artisan shops and cheap ´chinos´ selling almost anything for next to nothing.
Parks and Children
There are a couple of small park areas in Monteolivete. The Túria gardens are nearby as is Gulliver´s Park - a large sculpture of Gulliver lying down forming all sorts of slides, bridges etc to play on.
